Reviews

Honest reviews

We test running tech, apps and AI coaching over real miles, then tell you plainly where the AI helps and where it gets in the way.

The method

How every review works

  1. Run it

The kit goes out on real routes in the Surrey Hills and London, in whatever the weather does, around a normal working week.

  2. Read the data

We pull the numbers from the run and check them against what the app or AI coach predicted before we set off.

  3. Score it

Every review lands on the same three lines: where AI helps, where it hinders, and whether it earns a place in your kit.

  4. Publish it

A 15-second Reel for the headline, then a carousel with the detail for anyone weighing up a purchase.

Independence

Our review rules

  • We always say when kit is loaned, gifted or paid for.
  • Brands don't see or approve the verdict before it goes out.
  • We buy some of what we test ourselves, so not every review starts with a brand.
  • Loaned kit goes back when the review is done.
